Hello, my name is Larry Foster. I would like to take the next few paragraphs to introduce myself to you.

I graduated with a BS in Industrial Education and a MS in Industrial Technology-Manufacturing from Eastern Michigan University. I am certified as a Principal Management Consultant (82107) as well as a Quality Management System auditor for ISO-9000 and TS-16949 (Q082107).

As an integral part of my academic growth, I have had the oportunity to complete classes from Dr. W. Edwards Demming (Operational Improvement ); Dr Chester Karras (Effective Negotiating ); Crosby College (Managing Quality, Quality Improvement Through Defect Prevention); and Kepner / Tregoe (The Rational Manager) 

Since 1997, I have been President of Foster and Associates Inc, a consulting company concentrating on ISO-9000, ISO-14001, TS-16949 and AS-9100 Quality Management System identification, development, implementation, training, internal auditing and certification for our clients. We have clents in such areas as painting, machining, material handling, electronics, plastics, stampings, assemblies, calibration and testing, filtering as well as many other industries.

We also provide Value Analysis / Value Management, cost analysis, process improvements, and management training services for our client base.

Since 1965 I have had extensive experience in both the manufacturing and non-manufacturing sectors. During the past 45 years I have had the exceptional opportunity to have taught Industrial Education classes; worked in Public Relations, Manufacturing Engineering, Purchasing Management, and Quality Assurance.

Through my education and experiences I have come to believe that we have both an opportunity and a responsibility to work together to return our industrial base to greatness. By defining long term goals, monitoring the performance to the goals, conducting adequate analysis of performance, will allow management to make critical and timely decisions regarding
